Radio and the Birth of Mass Communications

From the earliest experiments in broadcasting at the turn of the 20th century, to tweets from the front lines of the Arab Spring, we have come to depend on mass communications to keep us tuned in to current events both local and global. Join two leaders in mass communications as they trace the evolution of the medium, starting with radio in the first part of the 20th century and progressing all the way to the instant gratification updates on Twitter in the 21st.
