Can't attend the SHRM Learning System ® program in person?

Participate online through the University of Minnesota. Officially endorsed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), this course will prepare you for the internationally recognized Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam in just 12 weeks.

Using Moodle, you can be part of a virtual class that will provide a thorough review of the learning system. You will interact in a structured virtual environment with a cohort group, an experienced instructor, and the flexibility to learn how, when, and where it's convenient for you.

What is Moodle? Moodle is a web-based course management system designed to deliver online learning. As with any classroom, expect each module to apply different tools and techniques.

What do I need before I start? You will need access to the World Wide Web. Mozilla Firefox is recommended as your web browser for this program.

Participants earn certificates of completion from the University of Minnesota and SHRM, as well as 3.6 Continuing Educational Units (CEUs). To obtain certificates and CEUs you must login to your course site on a weekly basis, post weekly responses and questions in the discussion area, participate in chat sessions, and complete the majority of the pre-tests, post-tests, and the final exam.
