Nurses with Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees play a vital role in improving health care through developing and implementing innovative new models of care including advancements in health informatics, improving access to care, interprofessional work, as well as safety and quality.
To showcase major systems change projects that move from academic exercises to sustainable contributions, the University of Minnesota School of Nursing introduces the DNP Innovation Institute.
The Institute will feature the significant contributions of DNP-educated nurses on improving health care and clinical practice and illustrate how to make an idea sustainable by highlighting innovative evidence-based projects that solve real-world problems and improve patient care.
