Financial planning should center on how we want to live. Money can help us get there, but so can our other resources and assets. This course offers a holistic approach to financial planning in which you'll use your life situation, goals, life direction, and human and financial resources to create a financial plan for the life you want.
To begin, Mark will walk you through two assessments, a risk profile and a survey of your goals, obstacles, and resources. Next, you'll dig deeply into your goals while acknowledging your obligations, and use what you've learned to guide your decision-making. Then, you'll assess your life situation, catalog your finances, develop investment guidelines, and create your individual investment policy statement. Finally, you'll learn the principles of investing and apply them to your own situation.
There will be time for questions, and Mark will offer advice on common concerns expressed by the group. You can benefit from this course no matter what your life stage or how much (or how little) money you have put aside for the future.
Fee includes a box supper.
