Program Overview
Apply skills in a team setting
This highly interactive course involves an extensive case study that challenges you to examine, integrate, and apply the knowledge you have acquired both on the job and in the classroom. While in teams, you analyze and resolve complex organizational issues and, in the process, exercise your leadership, persuasion, and teamwork skills. Completion of all supervisory courses is required before taking this class.
Following this course you will be able to:
- Analyze assumptions about workers, supervision, and motivation
- Explore forces that drive performance
- Distinguish between effective and ineffective group processes
- Practice team skills: listening, constructive differing, and objective setting
- Use rational and interpersonal skills in problem solving
